Kate Vanskike

Kate Vanskike has a diverse work experience in the field of content strategy, publications, and communications. Kate started their professional journey as a Communications Specialist and Managing Editor at Providence Health Care in Spokane in 1999. Kate held this role for 15 years until November 2014. In May 2014, Kate joined Providence Health & Services as a Senior Writer/Editor for Marketing/Communications, where they worked until November 2014. During the same year, in August 2014, they also worked as a Writer, Editor, and Blogger for WordsnCoffee.com. In November 2014, Kate took on the role of Senior Director of Content Strategy & Publications at Gonzaga University, where they focus on storytelling through various channels to advance the university's mission. Additionally, they also served as the Senior Publications Editor & Content Strategist at Gonzaga University, where they worked on feature stories and showcased the achievements of the university's community members.

Kate Vanskike completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature at Hannibal-LaGrange College from 1991 to 1996. Kate furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Communication & Leadership at Gonzaga University School of Leadership Studies from 2019 to 2022.
