Sydney Schaefgen

Sydney Schaefgen is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in media production and communication. Currently serving as a Television News Producer at KHQ-TV since June 2024, Sydney manages Saturday morning news broadcasts and collaborates closely with reporters and anchors to deliver accurate news. Previously, Sydney worked as the Social Media Manager for Gonzaga University's iZag Radio Station, where responsibilities included marketing and promoting student-led shows. Sydney has also gained valuable experience through internships at KHQ-TV and KX FM, as well as roles in guest services and sales, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills throughout various positions. Sydney is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations at Gonzaga University, expected to graduate in June 2025.
