Director Of Strategic Initiatives at Gonzaga University

Whitney Franklin's work experience begins in 2006 when they worked as a Wedding Sales and Event Coordinator for Waterways Cruises and Events. In 2006, they also worked as a Sales and Event Assistant for Beacon Hill Catering. From 2007 onwards, Whitney joined Gonzaga University, starting as an Event and Stewardship Specialist and gradually progressing to different roles within the organization. Whitney served as an Assistant Director of Stewardship, then as the Director of Special Events. In 2020, they became the President of Staff Assembly and also took on the role of Director of Donor Engagement. Currently, Whitney holds the position of Director of Strategic Initiatives at Gonzaga University, a role they started in January 2022.

Whitney Franklin earned a Certificate in Women's Leadership from Gonzaga University School of Leadership Studies in 2023. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Organizational Leadership at the same school from 2019 to 2022. In 2006, they graduated from SBGE at Seattle Pacific University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, focusing on Marketing.
