Peter MacKay

Peter MacKay has work experience as a Principal Technologist at G&H Photonics since October 2002. Peter also worked as a Product Development Engineer at Nortel Networks from July 1999 to January 2001. Additionally, they are currently serving as the Chair CPW/172 Optics and Photonics at BSI since July 2023.

Peter MacKay completed their education at the University of Strathclyde. From 1987 to 1991, they pursued a BSc (Hons) in Laser Physics and Optoelectronics. Later, from 1991 to 1995, they attained a PhD in Computational Quantum Optics. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a STEM Ambassador certification after engaging in 15 hours of STEM-related activities in 2019/2020 through STEM Learning UK.
