Mariana Gomes

Mariana Gomes has a diverse work experience in the field of product design and user experience. Mariana currently works as the Product Design Lead at Good Dog since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at MetaLab as a Product Designer from May 2020 to March 2023, and as a Senior Product Designer from October 2021 to January 2023. Mariana also worked at Dribbble as a Design Mentor for a 4-week UI Course from August 2022 to September 2022. Before that, they had a role as the Lead Product Designer at Rows from March 2017 to May 2020, where they played an integral role in the company's growth from 5 to over 40 members. Mariana also has experience as a Product Designer at airtel from January 2016 to March 2017, where they designed products for both B2B and B2C markets and optimized them for slower internet connections. Prior to that, they worked as a UX/UI Designer at Gen Design Studio from March 2014 to March 2017, where they worked on large-scale projects for clients in the telecom business such as AT&T and airtel. Mariana began their career as a User Experience Designer at AT&T from April 2014 to September 2015, where they designed wireframes and interfaces for big scale B2B projects.

Mariana Gomes obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Design from Universidade de Aveiro between 2010 and 2013. In 2012, they also participated in an Erasmus Programme at Leipzig University, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Kunstpädagogik. Prior to their university education, they attended Escola Secundária de Avelar Brotero from 2007 to 2010, focusing on Visual Arts. Additionally, Mariana obtained a certification in Ascend's Leadership Program from Ascend in May 2021.
