Abhinav Sinha

Abhinav Sinha has over 17 years of work experience. In 2018, they became the CEO and Co-founder of GoodDO, and also took on the role of VP - Strategy at GoodDot. Prior to this, they worked at Novartis as Manager, Brand Insights from 2016-2018, at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories as Senior Scientist, Biologics Development Centre from 2012-2016, and at Bioscience Editing Solutions as Scientific Editor in 2012. From 2004-2012, they were an Intern - Technology Transfer and Business Development and Graduate Student at OHSU, where they developed deep expertise in protein chemistry, photochemistry, and expression and purification of membrane and soluble proteins. Abhinav identified sites of direct contact between arrestin and rhodopsin by fluorescence spectroscopic studies and proposed models of interaction, based on distance constraints. From 2003-2004, they were a Project Trainee at Indian Institute of Science, where they studied the genomic level regulation of various signaling pathways by guanylyl cyclase. Abhinav also worked as a Summer Trainee at Indian Institute of Science in 2003, and at Birla Institute of Scientific Research in 2002, where they extracted xanthan gum from bacteria grown in bioreactors and studied its rheological properties, and the effect of various additives on those properties.

Abhinav Sinha has a diverse educational background. Abhinav earned a B. Tech. from Anna University in Industrial Biotechnology from 2000 to 2004. Abhinav then went on to receive a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Oregon Health & Science University from 2004 to 2012. Most recently, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Marketing and Strategy from the Indian School of Business from 2015 to 2016.
