Helen Breewood is a seasoned professional in sustainability and research, currently serving as the Research and Resource Manager at The Good Food Institute Europe since May 2023. Prior to this role, Helen was the Research and Communications Officer at TABLE from January 2018 to April 2023, where responsibilities included managing the weekly newsletter Fodder and providing interdisciplinary insights on food systems sustainability. Helen has experience as a freelance sustainability writer and has held positions in sales, teaching, patent law, and research, including significant contributions to innovative projects such as the world's first lab-grown hamburger. Educational qualifications include a Master of Philosophy from The University of Manchester and a dual MEng and BA in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
