Gardar Stefansson

CEO & Co-founder at Good Good

Gardar Stefansson has been working in the CPG industry since 2010. In that year, they co-founded Saltverk Reykjaness ehf., a company established in Reykjanes in the Westfjords based on their master thesis at the Aarhus University. In 2012, they became the CEO and Co-founder of Nordur Salt/Nordur & Co. In this role, they oversaw the daily operations and growth of the company, from infancy to a medium-sized production and export company. Gardar also oversaw the construction of the company's production facility in Reykhólar, Iceland and setting up offices in Reykjavik, Iceland and Aarhus, Denmark. In 2016, they transformed Via Health, a sweetener company, into GOOD GOOD, a global player in the no added sugar CPG industry. In this role, they oversaw day-to-day management decisions, worked on setting up business and export opportunities, and created and fostered company culture.

Gardar Stefansson earned a Master's degree in Experience Economy from Aarhus University between 2009 and 2011. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Háskóli Íslands between 2005 and 2008.
