Mike Metroka has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.
Starting in 2005, they worked in marketing and event promotion for Indiana Ice Hockey, where they organized and ran promotional events. In 2006, they joined the NCAA and contributed to the Men's and Women's Final Four Basketball Championships by creating and implementing RPI analysis and collecting data for referee selection.
In 2007, Metroka worked at Craig Kelley & Faultless Attorneys At Law as a legal archivist and translator for Spanish-speaking clients. Mike then transitioned to the State of Indiana in 2006, where they coordinated and implemented the Money Follows the Person program and reported progress at meetings.
From 2008 to 2013, Metroka worked at Indiana University Bloomington as an Associate Instructor, taking on full responsibility for teaching sociology courses and receiving positive evaluations from students. Mike also conducted research and served as a graduate student during this time.
Metroka joined Digital Risk in 2013 as a Forensic Underwriting/Loan Review Analyst/Processor before moving to Good Karma Brands in 2015. At Good Karma Brands, they held multiple roles, including Marketing Consultant at ESPN West Palm, where they met businesses to create customized marketing solutions and develop partnerships, and Digital Sales Manager, where they collaborated with the ESPN West Palm team to develop digital marketing strategies and generate new business. Mike continued to work with direct partners and agencies to create impactful marketing plans across various digital and non-digital platforms.
Mike Metroka has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology and Spanish from DePauw University, which they obtained between 2004 and 2008. Mike then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Sociology from Indiana University Bloomington between 2008 and 2010.
