Gayle Galvez

Gayle Galvez currently serves as the Director of Good Morning America, the leading national morning news program, and has been in this role since March 2020. In addition to this position, Gayle is also a Director at CNBC, starting in February 2024, where responsibilities include directing live financial newscasts. Previous experience includes directing GMA3 What You Need to Know at ABC News from October 2021 to March 2023, and serving as a Television Director at Bloomberg News from October 2013 to November 2020. Earlier roles encompass a Control Room Automation Specialist at Sony between 2008 and 2015 and Television Director at KNBC Channel 4 News from February 2008 to November 2013. Gayle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
