Joseph Todey

Director at Good Samaritan Rescue Mission

Joe Todey began volunteering at Good Samaritan Rescue Mission in November of 2004, shortly before it officially opened for service. In 2005, an advisory board was formed in which Joe served two years as President and has faithfully served on that board ever since. Joe was asked to serve on the Rescue Ministries of Mid-Michigan (R3M) Board of Directors in 2008, became Vice President in 2012, and President in 2013. He retired from Essexville Hampton Schools in 2000 after serving 37 years as an educator and the last 25 years as athletic director at Garber High School. Joe enjoys fishing trout streams, playing golf and tennis, and camping. Yet his real sports passion is skiing in the Rocky Mountains where he winters. With great commitment, Joe capitalizes on communication technologies to stay connected with us and returns home for Rescue Ministries of Mid-Michigan (R3M) meetings.
