Steve Hensley

A lifelong resident of Saginaw, Steve attended schools locally, graduated from Valley Lutheran High School and then attended Saginaw Valley State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and double minors in Business and English. Professionally, Steve is the program director for the Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce where he leads the Saginaw County Young Professionals Network, (YPN). During his childhood, Steve’s family was a regular supporter of the mission. From an early age and through faith, Steve was routinely reminded by his parents “To whom much is given, much will be required” – Luke 12:48. It was from that foundation that Steve developed his passion to give back and serve others in his community. When referencing his wife, Steve proudly shares “she is a true blessing from God.” They have a little miniature Dachshund named Coni and Steve says she is unarguably the favorited member of the family. Avid hockey fans, Steve and Ashley enjoy attending Saginaw Spirit hockey games and traveling north to the Traverse City area.
