Kaitlyn May, OTD, OTR/L, is an experienced occupational therapist currently working at Good Shepherd Penn Partners since September 2023, where services are provided in acute care, inpatient rehab, and behavioral health settings. Kaitlyn previously served as a doctoral candidate at Jefferson Elder Care Inc, focusing on dementia care projects and collaborating on educational materials. Prior fieldwork experiences include managing clients with severe-profound intellectual disabilities at Merakey and providing acute care services at Pennsylvania Hospital. Additional roles range from personal care attendant services for individuals with muscular dystrophy to developing adapted fitness programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Kaitlyn holds a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University and a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from the University of Delaware.
