Erica Maldonado has a strong background in the events and hospitality industry. Erica began their career as a Catering Coordinator at Hyatt Regency Islandia Hotel in 2002 and worked their way up to become a Catering Manager. In 2006, they joined Estancia La Jolla Hotel and Spa as a Senior Catering Manager and later became the Director of Catering. In 2010, they became the Director of Operations at Landmark Events. In 2011, they transitioned to entrepreneurship and started their own business as the Owner and Wedding and Events Planner at Joie de Vivre Weddings and Events. At the same time, they also worked as a Real Estate Agent at Allison James Estates and Homes, providing dedicated and energetic representation to clients. In 2015, they joined Good Time Design as the Director of Private Events.
Erica Maldonado received a B.A in Communication Studies from the University of San Diego in 2002. Erica also attended San Diego State University in 2003 but did not complete a degree or specify a field of study.
