Bartosz Oczujda

Director Software Engineering at Goodgame Studios

Bartosz Oczujda has over 10 years of work experience in the software development and game development industry. Bartosz began their career in 2010 as a Game Developer at eduintegrator (formerly: pwn.pl), where they led a small development team and worked on the award-winning Eduterapeutica series using Adobe Flash technology. In 2012, they joined Pixelrockit as a Game Developer, focusing on the development of mobile and desktop games using Adobe AIR and HTML5 technologies, and designing educational games for children. In 2014, Bartosz joined Goodgame Studios as a Junior Software Engineer, and over the years, they took on increasingly senior roles, including Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. In their most recent position, Bartosz served as the Technical Lead, leading a development team in an innovative software project to convert Goodgame Studios' flagship products from Flash to HTML5, including the development of a fully automated transpiler to convert code from Actionscript 3 to TypeScript. In April 2019, they were promoted to Director of Software Engineering at Goodgame Studios.

Bartosz Oczujda began their education in 2003 at Pomorska Akademia Pedagogiczna w Słupsku, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature, General. Bartosz completed their studies at this institution in 2006. In the same year, they also attended Akademia Technik Komputerowych, specializing in Desktop Publishing as an IT Specialist. In 2007, they furthered their education at Akademia Technik Komputerowych w Poznaniu, specializing in 3D Modeling as an IT Specialist, which they completed in 2008.
