Deja White has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Deja started their career as a Content Creator at the Ryan Seacrest Foundation in 2016 and later worked as a Copy Editor and Webmaster at the University of Georgia's Center for Applied Isotope Studies. In 2017, they joined Uber as a Brand Communications & Creative Marketing intern, where they assisted with creative operations and production.
From 2017 to 2018, Deja worked at Warner Bros. Discovery (formerly WarnerMedia and Turner Broadcasting) as a Digital Marketing Coordinator and Specialist, where they managed email marketing campaigns, developed training materials, and created team documentation.
In 2019, they founded Breakroom Buddha, where they served as Editor in Chief and developed a workshop and speaker extension of the platform. Deja also worked as a Creative Consultant at Breakroom Buddha Services.
In 2022, Deja joined Morning Brew as a Creative Strategist, where they focused on branded content, integrated marketing, and partnership marketing. Deja also co-led the CSR Employee Resource Group and developed quarterly programs for employees.
In the same year, they also worked at Goodie Nation, a non-profit organization, as a Content Marketing specialist, producing strategic content centered on community and customer success stories.
Currently, Deja is working at Cox Media Group as a Digital Content Lead, a role they started in 2023. Overall, Deja's work experience showcases their expertise in content marketing, creative strategy, digital marketing, and leadership.
Deja White holds a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism with a field of study in Mass Media Arts from The University of Georgia. Deja also participated in a Cannes Film Festival Study Abroad program offered by the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia. In addition to their formal education, Deja obtained several certifications. Deja completed the Droga5in10 Advertising Academy offered by Droga5 in June 2022, the Business Bootcamp program provided by Selfmade in September 2021, and the Introduction to Social Media Marketing course offered by Facebook in March 2021. Deja also obtained a New Media Certification from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia in May 2016.
