Rami Filfil

Rami Filfil is a seasoned intellectual property professional with extensive experience in patent and trademark law. Rami currently serves as the Principal - Patent & Trademark Attorney at FILFIL IP, a position they have held since March 2021. Prior to this, Rami was a Senior Legal Consultant and Patent & Trademark Agent at Rouse from November 2015 until March 2021. Rami also worked as an Intellectual Property Legal Consultant/Advisor at Filfil Consulting from January 2014 until March 2021. Rami gained valuable experience as an Intellectual Property Associate at Oyen Wiggs Green & Mutala LLP from May 2012 to January 2014. Rami also served as In-house Legal Counsel at SYL Staffing Experts, Inc. from October 2010 to April 2012. Rami began their career as a Student-at-law at Smart & Biggar, where they completed their articling from 2009 to 2010 and worked as a summer student in 2007 and 2008. Rami also has experience in the field of remote sensing, working as a Research Associate at Consultant TGIS Inc. from June 2003 to March 2006 and as a Synthetic Aperture Radar Exploitation Programmer/Analyst at Procom Consultants Group Ltd. from May 2006 to September 2006. Recently, Rami has joined Goodlawyer as an Intellectual Property Specialist - Lawyer, Patent & Trademark Agent since July 2021, where they are an equity owner and active team member. Through their various roles, Rami has developed a strong expertise in intellectual property law and has demonstrated their ability to provide specialized legal services to clients.

Rami Filfil completed their education in a chronological order. Starting from 1995 to 1999, they pursued a B.Sc. (Combined Hons) in Mathematics and Physics at Dalhousie University. Following this, from 1999 to 2002, they attended Dalhousie University again, earning an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics (Biomedical Engineering). Later, from 2006 to 2009, Rami attended the University of Ottawa, where they obtained an LL.B. degree specializing in Law.
