Shawn Woods

Shawn Woods has extensive experience in agricultural management and finance. Currently serving as Farm Manager and Systems Specialist at GoodLeaf Farms since May 2016, responsibilities include overseeing production, facilities, systems, data, and staff in a pioneering indoor farming environment known for pesticide-free leafy greens. Prior to this role, Shawn co-founded Futurescape Corporation, focusing on innovative technologies across Canada from March 2011 to December 2017. A solid background in finance was established at Scotiabank, where Shawn worked from March 2002 to March 2014 in various roles, including Mortgage Development Manager and Personal Banking Officer. Early career experience includes customer service at HSBC Bank Canada. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a double major in Finance and Management from Saint Mary's University, completed in 2001.
