Deb R. Lewis

Deb R. Lewis has extensive experience in arts education, currently serving as a Teaching Artist at Goodman Theatre since November 2012, where responsibilities include leading workshops for mature participants to create personal narrative performances, managing public showcases, and adapting programs for virtual formats during Covid-19. Prior to this role, Deb R. Lewis was an Adjunct Instructor at Columbia College Chicago from September 1998 to December 2016, teaching writing and critical reading classes. Deb R. Lewis holds a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing (Fiction) from Columbia College Chicago and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Rhetoric from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
