Amanda Nguyen

Amanda Nguyen's work experience begins with their role as a Research Assistant at UC Berkeley, where they worked from January 2009 to May 2010. Amanda then went on to become a Business Development and Operations Intern at Gurtin Fixed Income Management, LLC from May 2008 to July 2010. Amanda continued their education at UCLA and held multiple positions, including Teaching Associate from September 2011 to June 2016, Lecturer from June 2013 to August 2014, and Research Assistant from January 2012 to June 2013.

In 2015, Amanda held two internships, first as a Data Science Intern at TrueCar, Inc. from September 2015 to December 2015, and then as a Subject Matter Expert at Cengage Learning from February 2015 to August 2015.

Amanda then joined Analysis Group as an Economic Consultant from September 2016 to August 2019.

Afterwards, Amanda joined GoodRx and started as a Health Economist I from August 2019 to June 2021. Amanda was later promoted to Health Economist II in July 2021, and the duration of that role is ongoing.

Additionally, Amanda has served as the Board Chair for the South Sudan STEM Initiative since September 2017. This organization aims to improve access to technology and STEM education in rural South Sudan by partnering with the South Sudanese Diaspora to build solar-powered computer labs, curate educational content, and train teachers.

Amanda Nguyen has earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Amanda then pursued further studies at UCLA, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree and a Ph.D. in Economics. The exact start and end years for each degree are not provided.
