Szu-Yu (Zoe) Kao is an accomplished health economist with extensive experience in both public health and research. Currently serving as a Senior Health Economist at Siemens Healthineers since August 2022, Kao previously held the position of Health Economist within the same organization. Prior to this role, Kao was a Prevention Effectiveness Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from September 2020 to August 2022. Educationally, Kao earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Health Services Research, Policy and Administration from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where a Graduate Research Assistant position was also held from September 2015 to June 2020. Earlier experience includes a Research Assistant role at National Taiwan University from June 2012 to July 2014 and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Applied Economics from the University of Michigan, obtained in January 2010.
