JJ Ramberg has a long and varied career in media and business. JJ began their career as a Producer for NBC Dateline in 1993. In 1998, they were hired as the Director of Marketing and Business Development for Cooking.com. In 2001, they joined CNN as a Host and Reporter. JJ was the co-host of The Flipside, a talk show focused on the business news of the day. In 2006, they joined MSNBC as the Host of the podcast Been There. Built That and the Anchor of the show Your Business. In 2019, they became the TV Host of BBC World News for a series on the future of agriculture and food distribution. In 2018, they co-founded Goodpods, which was recognized as one of Fast Company's Most Innovative companies, and became a Founding LP for Operator Collective. In 2022, they became the Co-Creator of NewAtlantis, an ocean regeneration project providing scalable business models for Marine Protected Areas.
JJ Ramberg attended Duke University from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a BA in English. JJ then attended Stanford University from 1996 to 1998 and obtained an MBA.
