Ketan Lad has extensive experience in the advertising and media industry. Ketan started their career in 2005 with internships at Saatchi & Saatchi, where they gained exposure to account management and creative processes. Ketan then worked as a Marketing & Creative Manager at Vizarie, where they handled various responsibilities such as sales, networking, event management, and brand communications.
In 2006, Ketan joined Outdoor Revolution Ltd as a Digital Outdoor Account Executive, responsible for securing advertisers for major worldwide events. Ketan demonstrated an entrepreneurial approach and excellent communication skills in this role, considering that most of the projects were international.
From 2008 to 2009, Ketan worked as a Marketing Coordinator at UK By Night, a Danish start-up social networking site specializing in nightlife. Ketan assisted in recruiting and managing photographer teams and nightclub partners, eventually growing into a general brand management role. During this time, they also utilized data and analytics from the site for their university dissertation.
In 2009, Ketan moved to Admedia, where they worked as an Account Executive, selling 6 sheets, ambient, and washroom media. This role enhanced their sales techniques, client relationship-building, and initiative.
From 2011 to 2017, Ketan had various roles at Havas Media UK. Ketan started as a Strategist, leading communication strategy for clients like Hyundai, Nando's, and The BBC. Ketan then became a Ideas Director, driving agency innovation through ideas generation, awards entry, and client workshops. In their final role at Havas Media UK, Ketan was a Creative Solutions & Ideas Manager, focusing on planning, integration, and measurement within an in-house creative and branded content unit.
Since 2018, Ketan has been associated with Goodstuff Communications. Ketan initially served as a Creative Media Director, ensuring a creative approach to media planning and developing inventive media solutions. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Creative Media, leading the Creative Media team and growing the agency's creative culture through training initiatives, awards writing, and ideas generation.
Throughout their career, Ketan has achieved notable accomplishments, including new business wins, brand planning consultancy, and sales growth for various clients. Ketan has also championed well-being programs, acted as a mentor, and contributed to various training initiatives in their roles.
Ketan Lad completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising & Marketing from the University of the Arts London in 2009. From 2012 to 2017, they pursued additional education and obtained Advanced & Foundation Certificates in Advertising from the Institute for Practitioners in Advertising (IPA). In 2013 and 2014, they enrolled in Marketing CPD Modules at CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing to further enhance their marketing skills.
