Barrett Parkman is the Vice President of Portfolio Services at Goodwater Capital. Prior to Goodwater, Parkman served as the Director of Startup and VC Ecosystem at Samsung Catalyst Fund, a $500 million evergreen multi-stage venture capital fund that invests in new data economy and core technologies. Parkman was also a Mentor for Google Launchpad Accelerator, a program that provides mentorship and equity-free support to tech startups. In addition, Parkman served as Managing Partner at GWC Innovator Fund and as a Mentor at HAX. Barrett also advised "Geeks on a Plane Asia" in 2010 and 2011.
Barrett Parkman has a wealth of experience in executive leadership development, strategic marketing management, venture capital, and global management. Barrett has a BA in economics from the University of Georgia, an MBA in international management from Tsinghua University, and a certificate in management from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Barrett also has a Stanford Tsinghua Exchange Program in global management from Stanford University. In addition, they have two certifications from Coursera in digital product management and AWS fundamentals. Finally, they have a certification from Y Combinator in startup investor school.
