Marlene Armstrong has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Marlene is currently employed as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Goodwill Columbus since 2022. Prior to this role, Marlene served as the President of MFA Creative Consulting LLC for a decade, specializing in strategic and creative consulting to grow businesses. Marlene also held positions such as Customer Engagement Executive at C Krueger's Finest Baked Goods, Marketing Executive at Schilling Inc., Director of Retail Brand Management at Bob Evans, Vice President of Business Gift Services and Merchandising at Cheryl's Cookies and Brownies, and Group Product Director at Bath & Body Works. Marlene started their career as a Department Manager at Bloomingdale's and later worked as a Corporate Buyer at Associated Dry Goods. Marlene also served as a Senior Marketing/Merchandising Manager at Avon. Marlene's expertise lies in marketing, communications, strategy development, branding, product development, and team management.
Marlene Armstrong earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English from Brown University. Marlene has also obtained additional certifications including Six Sigma White Belt Certification and is a candidate for Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Breakthrough Performance Group, LLC.
