Christina Lear

Christina Lear is the current principal at Indianapolis Metropolitan High School. Christina has previous experience working as a teaching policy fellow at Teach Plus, an English and journalism teacher at Herron High School, and a high school English teacher at Indianapolis Public Schools. Christina also participated in Teach for America as an Indianapolis corps member. In their role as a principal, Christina has also served as an assistant principal.

Christina Lear has a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Teachers College of Columbia University, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Marian University Indianapolis, and a Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude in English Literature, Spanish, and Gender Studies from Butler University.
