Jason Stewart

VP, Commercial Services at Goodwill Central Texas

Jason Stewart began his career at Goodwill Central Texas in June 2015 as a Project Coordinator for Workforce Advancement, overseeing the veterans program. Shortly thereafter, he was promoted to Senior Operations Manager at the Goodwill Resource Center, managing the Outlets and all Post-Retail Operations. In March 2016, Mr. Stewart assumed responsibility for all Goodwill facilities and maintenance, as well as new store builds. In October 2017, he was promoted to Director, Commercial Services, overseeing all private, state, and federal contracts that focus on employing people with disabilities. After being promoted in 2019 to Senior Director, Commercial Services, Mr. Stewart is now Vice President, Commercial Services.

Prior to Goodwill, Mr. Stewart spent 20 years in the U.S. Army, which brought him to Texas, where he retired as a First Sergeant who oversaw all recruiting stations in Central Texas. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Marketing, a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, and is currently working on a doctorate in Business Administration with an expected graduation of Spring 2023.
