Keith Sommer

Keith Sommer originally came to GSG Talent Solutions (GSG) in August 2012 as Business Development Manager for the launch of private industry recruiting. Under his leadership, private business grew from $50,000 to more than $2.7M by 2016. After a brief hiatus, Mr. Sommer rejoined GSG in December 2017 as Senior Director and was responsible for strategically building relationships and exploring revenue-based opportunities. In this role, he concentrated his efforts on behalf of both private and state divisions. Promoted to Vice President of GSG Talent Solutions/Business Solutions in May 2021, Mr. Sommer continues to lead staffing and cultivate business opportunities for Goodwill Central Texas.

A graduate of Texas Tech University, Mr. Sommer has a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and began his career as a Sports Anchor, moving onto sales, sales management, and operational leadership. He spent more than 12 years of his TV career in Abilene, Texas and Missoula, Montana with media company Lamco Communications, enjoying multiple roles including National and Local Sales Manager, General Sales Manager, and Vice President/General Manager. He also worked for the CBS Television Network as a National Account Director.
