Beth Alexander has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Beth started their career as a freelance journalist for Nashville Scene in 1991. From 1999 to 2001, they worked as the Vice-President of Development and Institutional Advancement at United Way of Metro Nashville, where they managed major gifts and implemented successful fundraising programs. From 2001 to 2008, Beth worked as the Editor and Publisher of Nfocus magazine, where they increased circulation and sales while covering philanthropic activities. In 2008, they joined CapStar Bank as the Communications and Marketing Director, overseeing marketing strategies and community affairs initiatives. During their time at CapStar Bank, they also served as the Community Relations Manager and the VP of Private Banking. From 2011 to 2017, they were a board member for CASA, and from 2013 to 2018, they served as a board member and board chair for the Blake McMeans Foundation. In 2016, they received the Crown Affair's Crowning Achievement Award from FiftyForward. In 2020, they became the Vice President of Development for Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, where they focus on education, training, and employment initiatives. Throughout their career, Beth has demonstrated strong leadership, communication, and fundraising skills.

Beth Alexander has a B.A. in English from Vanderbilt University. In 2015, they began studying Marketing/Marketing Management, General at the ABA School of Bank Marketing.
