Erica Cook

Erica Cook is the current Director of Retail-Southern at Goodwill Industries of South Texas. Erica has held this position since October 2018. Prior to their current role, Erica served as a member of the board of directors for Angelina Beautiful Clean from April 2014 to October 2018. In this role, Erica was responsible for overseeing the operations of Camp E-Ku-Sumee, a long-term, residential therapeutic wilderness facility for at-risk youth. Erica also served as a member of the board of directors for Workforce Solutions Deep East Texas from August 2015 to May 2016. In this role, Erica was responsible for ensuring that all agency operations support community members with disabilities and other barriers to employment in gaining independence through the dignity of work while also being good stewards of the environment. Erica began their tenure at Goodwill Industries of Central East Texas in January 2011 and served as the organization's CEO until October 2018. In this role, Erica was responsible for overseeing the success of Goodwill Industries of Central East Texas, a non-profit social enterprise agency that leverages its program revenues with revenues from government and private partners to provide much-needed employment-related services to community members in need. Erica is a certified CEO and is responsible for ensuring that Goodwill services align with our mission of "collaborating with our community to transform donations into innovative training, employability, and financial stability programs that empower people with disabilities and other barriers to achieve independence. At Goodwill, we empower individuals, strengthen families, and build communities...ONE JOB AT A TIME."

Erica Cook has a Bachelor of Arts in German and Erica'story from the University of North Texas. Erica also has a Master of Education in Special Education from the University of North Texas. In addition, they have an Executive Development Program Certification in Executive Leadership Development from Goodwill Industries International. Finally, they have Certified CEO status from Goodwill Industries International.
