Katrina Thurman

Katrina Thurman currently serves as the SVP, Chief Mission & Education Officer at Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona, leading K-12 and early childhood education programs while overseeing wrap-around service centers for veterans, military families, and first responders. Katrina has held various executive roles, including SVP Impact Strategy & Executive Communications and Chief Executive Officer at Social Advocates for Youth, where Katrina directed a nonprofit focused on serving vulnerable populations in Sonoma County. With prior experience as Executive Director at West County Community Services and VP Communications & Development at Goodwill of Central Arizona, Katrina has demonstrated expertise in managing large teams and executing strategies for social services and education. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Applied Anthropology with a focus on Community Development from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Communication from Arizona State University.
