Nicholas Filipancic

Nicholas Filipancic, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Nicholas is currently the Director of Business Development (East Coast) at GBI Bio since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Cytovance Biologics as the Director of Business Development from February 2023 to June 2023, and as a Business Development Manager from September 2021 to February 2023.

Before joining Cytovance Biologics, Nicholas served at TCI - Tokyo Chemical Industry. Nicholas held the role of Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Sales Manager from July 2020 to September 2021. In this position, they successfully managed multimillion-dollar quarterly revenue quotas and engaged with high level decision makers in the pharmaceutical, material science, and specialty chemical industries. Prior to this role, they were the Northeast Territory Sales Manager at TCI, where they developed innovative virtual sales tactics during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Earlier in their career, Nicholas worked at Entegris as an R&D Scientist II from June 2018 to March 2020. Nicholas also held the roles of R&D Scientist I and Laboratory Technician at Entegris. Furthermore, they gained research experience as a General Chemistry Tutor and Research Associate at Fordham University from September 2013 to May 2015. Additionally, they spent a summer as a Research Intern at the Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT, and Harvard in 2014.

Nicholas Filipancic holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry from Fordham University, obtained between 2011 and 2015. Nicholas also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, completed between 2016 and 2020. In addition to their formal education, they have acquired several certifications, including Project Management Foundations, Project Management: Budgets, Project Management: Risk, Project Management: Solving Common Project Problems, Project Management: Technical Projects, Scrum: The Basics, and Transitioning from Technical Professional to Manager from LinkedIn. Furthermore, they have completed Advanced Google Analytics and Google Analytics for Beginners certifications from Google. Additionally, they hold the Salesforce Adventurer Rank certification from Salesforce.
