Kathie Miller has over 25 years of experience in marketing, communications, and branding. Kathie began their career at BASICS, where they worked as a Senior Program Assistant, managing projects and budgets for social marketing campaigns in developing countries. After that, they joined NPR and held various roles, including Communications Assistant, Regional Communications Manager, Deputy Director of Creative Services & Branding, and Director of Creative Services & Branding. In these positions, they focused on raising awareness of NPR stations and programming and developing marketing materials. Most recently, Kathie worked as the Corporate Director of Marketing & Communications at Goodwin House Incorporated, where they built a marketing and communications department and developed strategies to position the organization as an industry leader. Kathie achieved high occupancy rates and consistently met or exceeded business goals.
Kathie Miller (she/her) received a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a concentration in International Communications from Penn State University, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Kathie further pursued their education at American University, earning a Master of Arts in French Studies & International Communications from 1994 to 1996.
