Patricia Povlitz

Patricia Povlitz, SHRM-CP, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Patricia currently works as the Senior Director of Human Resources at Goodwin Living since October 2022. Before that, they served as the Director of Human Resources at Goodwin House Alexandria, a not-for-profit organization focused on supporting older adults and their caregivers.

Prior to their work at Goodwin Living, Patricia was the Senior HR Business Partner and Regional HR Lead for North America at Network Rail Consulting from April 2019 to March 2021. Patricia led a small team of HR specialists and oversaw all HR strategy, program, and operations for the USA.

From 2016 to 2019, Patricia was the Human Resources Manager for Strategic Business Units at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. In this role, they acted as the primary HR leader for two profitable business units, overseeing a team of four HR professionals and providing support to over 1,000 employees.

Earlier in their career, Patricia worked as the Human Resources Leader for the US Market at PricewaterhouseCoopers from November 2012 to 2015. Patricia managed a team of three HR managers and provided HR support to partners and staff specializing in tax law and consulting services.

Before that, they served as the Human Resources Director for North America at Avanade from August 2011 to August 2012, overseeing a team of 20 HR generalists and leading HR program/policy design and implementation.

Patricia also has experience as a Human Resources Manager at ITT Corp from April 2010 to August 2011, where they led HR operations and delivery of services across multiple countries.

Patricia began their career as a Global HR Senior Manager at Accenture from April 1996 to February 2010. In this role, they piloted HR processes/functions, developed and executed strategic HR plans, and advised senior management on policy design and enforcement.

Additionally, Patricia worked as the Director of Professional Services at Top 5, Inc. from June 2005 to October 2006, managing the largest client, Marriott International, and driving a significant portion of the company's revenue.
