Jon Kanter

Jon Kanter joined Goodwin in 2013. He is the firm's Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for providing analysis and insight to the firm's leadership teams and supporting them in their operational and strategic decision making. Before becoming CFO in 2016, Mr. Kanter was the firm’s Managing Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. Prior to joining Goodwin, Mr. Kanter spent 14 years at PA Consulting Group, an international management consultancy headquartered in London. He began as a Commercial Finance Manager in the London office before moving to Washington, D.C. to assist with the integration of a large U.S. acquisition. He then moved to the Boston office to become Head of Consulting Commercial Finance, with responsibility for the global team of Finance Business Partners that supported the company's practices, as well as the global team of billing administrators and the credit collection team. Mr. Kanter graduated with a 1st Class degree from Bristol University, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1996, after which he spent two years working in Sydney, Australia.
