Robert Dennis-Pelcher is a Principal Scientist at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, where responsibilities include leading projects on raw material sustainability and developing a tire produced from 100% sustainable materials by 2030. With expertise in filler technology, Robert serves as chair of the Global Filler Technology Council and has conducted extensive research on new raw materials for tire compounding. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral research associate position at Texas A&M University focused on nanocomposites and corrosion-resistant coatings, along with roles as a visiting scholar at Canadian Light Source Inc. and a guest junior research associate at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Robert holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University at Buffalo, where significant research contributions included the development of lightweight nanocomposite coatings for corrosion inhibition.
