Ajay Deshpande has over a decade of experience in risk management and compliance, currently serving in a key role within Google’s Compliance Assurance department, focusing on consumer protection and privacy since February 2023. Prior to this, Ajay held positions in Internal Audit and Privacy Compliance at Google from May 2016 to February 2023, and worked as a Senior Manager in IT Risk at McKesson from April 2011 to May 2016. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Senior Consultant in Technology Risk at Deloitte from June 2007 to April 2011. Ajay holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics and Accounting from UC Santa Barbara, obtained in 2007.
