Ajay Vidyasagar

Ajay Vidyasagar is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the media and entertainment industry. Currently serving as Regional Director for Asia Pacific at YouTube since April 2011, Ajay leads the team responsible for managing YouTube's business in the region. Prior to this role, Ajay was the Chief Operating Officer at Sun TV Network Limited from April 2009 to March 2011, where responsibilities included managing business operations and driving viewership and revenue growth. Ajay also held the position of President at Star India from 1996 to April 2009, overseeing teams in programming, marketing, licensing, merchandising, and new media. Early career experience includes working as a Group Account Manager at Ogilvy & Mather from 1988 to 1995, managing IBM India's advertising and serving various clients in the FMCG and banking sectors. Ajay holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Madras and multiple postgraduate certificates in marketing strategies and media, entertainment, and marketing from the Indian School of Business.
