Anthony VEREZ is a cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in security engineering and incident detection. Anthony commenced a career at Cassidian CyberSecurity (Airbus) as a Security Engineering Intern in June 2012, where knowledge of USB norms was acquired and a USB plugin for Scapy was developed. Following this, Anthony worked at Mozilla from February to August 2014 as an Operations Security Intern, contributing to the development of MozDef, a scalable SIEM system. In May 2016, Anthony joined Google, holding multiple roles including Security Engineer II and Technical Lead until October 2018. As of October 2021, Anthony serves as the Cybersecurity Detection Technical Lead and Staff Security Engineer, overseeing a team of over ten individuals and driving cybersecurity intrusion detection efforts within Google's production environment.
