Barclay Osborn is a Senior Engineering Manager at Google, with a tenure starting in October 2007, overseeing a portfolio of 30-40 security and privacy services, and playing a key role in the BeyondCorp initiative that led to the development of Zero Trust Networking. Prior to this, Barclay served as Site Reliability Engineer and Tech Lead Manager, spearheading projects in the security and privacy domain. In addition to work at Google, Barclay has volunteered as the CA State Coordinator for the Information Technology Disaster Resource Center since May 2019, managing disaster response efforts in Southern California. Earlier experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at Tarari and MP3.com, a Security Engineer at Five Mountain Solutions and Security Architects, and various engineering positions at other companies. Barclay holds a BA in Computer Science from UC San Diego.
