Behnaz Kibria

Behnaz Kibria is an accomplished legal and policy professional with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. Beginning as an Associate at Hogan and Hartson from September 1999 to September 2004, Kibria then served as Trade Counsel for the U.S. House of Representatives' Ways and Means Committee from August 2007 to January 2014. Following this role, Kibria worked at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative as Deputy Chief of Staff and Assistant General Counsel from January 2014 to January 2017. Kibria later joined Google in March 2017, holding positions as Chief Of Staff, Director of Government Affairs and Public Policy for Cloud Product Initiatives, and Head of Technical Infrastructure and International Cloud Policy, until November 2017. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature/Letters and International Relations from Wesleyan University and a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School.
