Bill Byrne

Bill Byrne is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in linguistics and voice interface design. From 1997 to 1999, Byrne worked as a Linguist at Lexicon Branding, focusing on brand name creative design and linguistic research. Subsequently, Byrne served as a Consulting Professor at Stanford University from 2001 to 2006, teaching voice user interface design. As a Voice Interface Engineer at Google from 2005 to 2013, Byrne led the design of voice interfaces, later transitioning to the role of Research Scientist at Google in 2013, where Byrne currently leads natural language understanding initiatives.
