Chaoyang Fan has extensive experience in engineering and software development, with a career spanning from academia to industry. Chaoyang began as a PhD candidate at Fritz-Haber-Institut der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft from 1998 to 2002, later contributing as a Research Officer at Steacie Institute for Molecular Sciences from 2005 to 2009. Chaoyang held a Research Scientist position at Georgia Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2012, followed by a postdoctoral role at the University of Utah from 2003 to 2005.
