Cristian Morariu is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in network engineering and site reliability. Cristian began a career as a Network Engineer at Technical University of Cluj-Napoca and RoEduNet, transitioning to academia as a Research Assistant and PhD Student at the University of Zurich, where research focused on distributed architectures for traffic monitoring in high-speed networks. Cristian further developed expertise in software engineering and leadership during tenures at Qnective AG, serving as Director of Development and Technical Operations, and currently holds the position of Engineering Manager at Google within Site Reliability Engineering. Cristian received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the University of Zurich and a Diploma Engineer in Computer Science from Universitatea Tehnică din Cluj-Napoca.
