Dean Monks

Dean Monks is an experienced operations and technical professional with a diverse background in various roles across multiple companies. At Amazon Web Services, Dean worked as an Operations Tech Edge from April 2018 to November 2019. Prior to this, a tenure at Google from February 2011 to September 2017 as an Operations Engineer involved building and maintaining data centers and leading projects. Dean also held the position of Technical Program Manager at Hewlett Packard Enterprise for a brief period in early 2018. Earlier career experiences include serving as Material Handler Lead at XPO Logistics, where Dean managed a team and improved office operations, and an internship at Tourism Ireland focused on organizing trade shows and advertising campaigns for the German market. Dean holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business & IT & German from the Institute of Technology Blanchardstown, completed between 2003 and 2007.
