Ekin Seker McLean

Ekin Seker McLean currently serves as the Director and Head of Design for Google Geo, where the Geo Design Studio focuses on enhancing product design and brand experiences across various Google Geo products. Previous experience includes holding the position of Group Creative Director at Airbnb, leading global brand initiatives and the launch of Airbnb's Online Experiences, as well as serving as Creative Director for Airbnb’s Host business, where a global creative team was built. With prior roles as Creative Director at Elephant and Associate Creative Director at AKQA, Ekin oversaw product work for notable clients such as Goldman Sachs and Verizon. The career trajectory also includes significant contributions as Senior Art Director at R/GA and foundational work at Ideas at the Intersection, a design studio in Istanbul. Ekin's early experience features positions at J. Walter Thompson Worldwide and as a part-time faculty member teaching brand campaigns, complemented by a solid educational background with an MA in Interactive Media and a BFA in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
