Erin Hoffman-John

Head, Applied Game Design, Google Research at Google

Erin Hoffman-John is the current Head of Head of Applied Game Design at Google Research. Erin has also served as an Assistant Professor at Carnegie Mellon University, a CEO & CCO at Sense of Wonder, a Lead Systems Designer at Zynga, and a Senior Game Designer at HumaNature Studios. In addition, they have been involved with the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) as a Board of Directors member and Chair of Online Games. Erin's experience and expertise in the gaming industry makes their a valuable asset to any company.

Erin Hoffman-John has a certificate from the Odyssey Writing Workshop, a six-week intensive in Maya 3D and Flint Compsitor from the NYU Center for Advanced Digital Applications, a Masters in Wizardry in Care of Magical Creatures and Defence Against the Dark Arts from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and a BS in Electronic Art, Philosophy (dual major), with a minor in Applied Cognitive Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
