Evgeny Yakimov

Evgeny Yakimov is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in roles spanning from staff engineer at Google to various leadership positions at Bloomberg LP. With a strong background in C++ and real-time analytics, Evgeny has contributed significantly to the adoption of SRE practices and the evolution of trading systems. Prior to Bloomberg, Evgeny founded YCN Hosting, a successful gaming server rental platform, and served as lead software engineer at Streamworks International, where expertise in video streaming technology was demonstrated. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Web Applications and Services and a BSc in Medical Genetics from the University of Leicester.
