Hadar Shemtov

Hadar Shemtov possesses extensive experience in the fields of natural language processing and information retrieval, having held significant roles at various leading technology companies. From 2000 to 2002, Hadar served as Director of Business Development at ClearForest, following a tenure as a researcher at Xerox Corp. where contributions included developing parsing and generation algorithms. At Yahoo!, Hadar was Head of Search Sciences Lab from July 2008 to September 2009, overseeing a team focused on search algorithms and document processing. Subsequent positions included Director of Research for Search and Advertising Sciences at Xerox PARC and Group Program Manager at Microsoft. Since October 2011, Hadar has been a member of the Search Quality team at Google. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Cognitive Sciences and Linguistics from Tel Aviv University and a PhD in Computational Linguistics from Stanford University.
