Hugh Gorman

Hugh Gorman has extensive experience in legal compliance and operations, particularly in the technology sector. At Google, from October 2011 to September 2019, Hugh served as Senior Manager of International Law Enforcement Response Operations, overseeing a global team of over 50 full-time employees to ensure data-disclosure compliance in response to law enforcement requests. Prior roles at Google included Team Lead for LATAM Compliance and earlier Team Lead for APAC and LATAM Compliance, where Hugh managed teams processing sensitive governmental data requests and developed operational strategies. Hugh's academic background includes a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Stanford University, where Hugh also worked as a Research Assistant at Stanford Law School from August 2010 to November 2011.
